CRYPTOCURRENCY - Bitcoin rises over the $58,000 level

The price of Bitcoin rose over the 58,000 dollars level, with a general purchase wave in the crypto currency markets, which touched the all-time high level of 61,683.86 dollars on March 13.


Bitcoin increased by 2.74 percent in the last 24 hours to 58,222.76 dollars, after fluctuating between 56,477.18 and 58,472.42 dollars, while the currency's weekly loss was calculated at 2.96 percent. Bitcoin's total market volume was at 1.0 trillion 87.2 billion dollars.

Ethereum, the second-largest unit of the crypto currency markets, also increased by 3.84 percent in the last 24 hours to 2,077.86 dollars, while its weekly gain was 3.96 percent; the market volume of the unit also rose to 239.7 billion dollars.

Binance Coin, the third-largest unit of the crypto currency markets, also increased by 2.89 percent in the last 24 hours to 408.7 dollars, while its weekly gain was 19.20 percent; the market volume of the unit also rose to 63.15 billion dollars.

With increasing corporate purchases, the total market capitalisation, which exceeded the 1.5 trillion dollar limit for the first time in history on February 15, was at 1 trillion 971 billion dollars on early Friday, after hitting 1.99 trillion dollars on April 1.

While the value of 15 units decreased from the highest volume of 100 units in the last 24 hours in the crypto money markets, one of the top 10 units was among those that fell.

Bitcoin accounted for 55.2 percent and Ethereum for 12.2 percent of the total market volume in 38,127 markets where 9.185 cryptocurrencies were traded, while the 24-hour trading volume in all markets was at 134 billion dollars.
