American multinational investment management corporation, BlackRock Inc, confirmed through its filing to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) it is adding Bitcoin futures as a ligament investment to its two funds.

The world's largest asset manager explained it wants to bring cryptocurrencies closer to its users by enabling them to trade with Bitcoin derivatives through its funds, BlackRock Strategic Income Opportunities, and BlackRock Global Allocation Fund Inc. The companies' Chief Executive Officer Larry Fink is a famous crypto advocate who recently stated Bitcoin could evolve into a global market.
The funds will be able to invest only in cash-settled Bitcoin futures traded on commodity exchanges registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
