CBRT-Property prices rose by 14 pct. in real terms annually

Residential property prices increased by 1.5 percent on monthly basis, in November, according to the Residential Property Price Index data, released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) on Tuesday.


Residential property prices increased by 30 percent in nominal terms and 14 percent in real terms in November on an annual basis.

The Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) (2017=100), which measures quality-adjusted price changes of dwellings in Turkey stands at 152.2 in November 2020 by a monthly increase of 1.5 percent

The residential property prices increased monthly by 1.7 percent in all three major cities: İstanbul, Ankara, and İzmir, in November. İstanbul, Ankara, and İzmir recorded an annual increase of 27.8, 30.1, and 29.9 percent respectively, over the same period.
