CBRT - Real sector confidence rose by 0.2 points in January

Real sector confidence (RSCI) decreased by 0.2 points to 107.0 level in January on monthly basis, according to the Business Tendency Statistics and Real Sector Confidence Index data, released by the Central Bank of Turkey (CBRT) on Monday.


According to the Central Bank of Turkey data, the seasonally adjusted real sector confidence index (RSCI-SA) decreased by 1.4 points to 109.0 in January, compared to the previous month.


Expectations for an increase in sales prices in the next three months strengthened. As of the end of the next twelve-month period, annual PPI expectation increased by 0.7 points to 16.5 percent compared to the previous month.


According to the CBRT data, in the evaluations for the last three months, the development in favor of those expecting an increase in production volume strengthened compared to the previous month, while the development in favor of those who reported an increase in the domestic market and export order volume weakened compared to the previous month.
