Bitcoin decreased by 3.05 percent in the last 24 hours to 35,137.35 dollars, while the weekly loss of the unit was calculated at 2.17 percent. Bitcoin's total market volume also decreased by about 31 billion dollars, from 682 billion dollars to 651 billion dollars.
Many traders noted that the cryptocurrency would reclaim its previous peak—and form a new one in the sessions ahead. One of them—a pseudonymous analyst—noted that Bitcoin flipping $36,500 from resistance to support provides it an ideal footing to continue its rally to a new high.
The total volume in all cryptocurrency markets has decreased by approximately 25 billion dollars in the last 24 hours to 987 billion dollars, down from 1.0 trillion 12 billion dollars. The 24-hour trading volume in the markets decreased by approximately 12 billion dollars to 121 billion dollars.
