The largest contribution to the annual rate in the euro area came from services, with the rate of 0.30 percent, and by food, alcohol, and tobacco with 25 percent.
Meanwhile, non-energy industrial goods and energy made a negative contribution of negative 0.14 percent and negative 0.68 percent, respectively.
The lowest rates of negative 2.4 percent, negative 1.2 percent, and negative 1.0 percent were recorded in Greece, Slovenia, and Ireland, respectively.
On the other hand, Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic saw the highest annual rise of, respectively, 3.4 percent, 2.8 percent, and 2.4 percent. On a monthly level, the inflation increased in ten member states, remained stable in eight, and decreased in nine.
