US House approves govt funding bill and Covid aid

NEWS IN ENGLISH

United States House of Representatives approved the 2.3 trillion dollars spending package which includes 900 billion dollars of coronavirus relief.

The legislation was forwarded to the Republican-controlled Senate with a 359-53 vote. Once it is inked by President Donald Trump the bill is set to fund the government for the rest of this fiscal year, also providing pandemic aid the lawmakers agreed upon, after months of negotiations.
The government in Washington is currently operating on one-day funding that was adopted on Monday night, which marked the fourth time the Congress had passed a stopgap bill due to the Democrats and the administration remaining deadlocked on stimulus after the US fiscal year ended on September 30.
