WSJ - Google, FB to join forces to fight antitrust case

NEWS IN ENGLISH

Alphabet Inc.'s subsidiary Google LLC and Facebook Inc. have reached a deal on collaboration against any potential inquiry into their online advertising agreement in the United States, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on Tuesday after allegedly having access to an unredacted version of the Texas-led lawsuit against Google.

According to the report, it was said in the lawsuit that both companies knew about the possibility of antitrust investigations into their online ads agreement, which attorneys general claim included Facebook's vow not to compete against Google's advertising tools in order to receive special treatment in return.
Both companies rejected the accusations against them in separate statements sent to the WSJ.
