CBRT - Property prices rose by 13.6 pct. in real terms

Residental property prices increased by 2.4 percent on monthly basis, increased by 32.0 percent on an annual basis and increased by 13.6 percent annually in real terms, according to the Residential Property Price Index data, released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) on Friday.

The Residential Property Price Index, which measures quality-adjusted price changes of dwellings in Turkey stands at 165.5 in March 2021 by a monthly increase of 2.4 percent.
In March 2021, the RPPI increased monthly by 2.1 percent, 2.2 percent and 2.4 percent in İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir respectively. 


İstanbul, Ankara and  İzmir recorded an annual increase of 28.9 percent, 30.3 percent and 33.9 percent respectively.
