CRYPTOCURRENCY - Bitcoin rises over the $60,000 level

The price of Bitcoin rose over the 60,000 dollars level, after hitting 61,000 dollars line dver the weekend, with a general purchase wave in the crypto currency markets, which touched the all-time high level of 61,683.86 dollars on March 13.

Bitcoin decreased by 0.19 percent in the last 24 hours to 60,164.45 dollars, after fluctuating between 59,289.80 and 60,587.12 dollars, while the currency's weekly loss was calculated at 3.16 percent. Bitcoin's total market volume was at 1.0 trillion 125.6 billion dollars.

Ethereum, the second-largest unit of the crypto currency markets, also increased by 0.48 percent in the last 24 hours to 2,154.62 dollars, while its weekly gain was 5.19 percent; the market volume of the unit also rose to 248.96 billion dollars.

Binance Coin, the third-largest unit of the crypto currency markets, also increased by 22.52 percent in the last 24 hours to 567.35 dollars, while its weekly gain was 64.70 percent; the market volume of the unit also rose to 88.34 billion dollars.

With increasing corporate purchases, the total market capitalisation, which exceeded the 1.5 trillion dollar limit for the first time in history on February 15, was at 2.08 trillion dollars on early Monday, after passing 2.0 trillion dollars level on April 10.

While the value of 43 units decreased from the highest volume of 100 units in the last 24 hours in the crypto money markets, three of the top 10 units were among those that fell.

Bitcoin accounted for 54.1 percent and Ethereum for 12.0 percent of the total market volume in 37,971 markets where 9.192 cryptocurrencies were traded, while the 24-hour trading volume in all markets was at 140 billion dollars.
