The highest monthly contribution to the annual rate came from services, with 0.57 percent, followed by energy with 0.43 percent, food, alcohol and tobacco with 0.24 percent, and non-energy industrial goods with 0.09 percent.
The highest annual rates were observed in Poland with 4.4 percent, Hungary with 3.9 percent, and Romania and Luxembourg with 2.5 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest rates were noted in Greece with negative 2.0 percent, and Portugal, Malta, Ireland and Slovenia with negative 0.1 percent.
