CRYPTOCURRENCY - Bitcoin nears the 46,000-dollar level

The price of Bitcoin bounced back to over 46,000 dollars level on early Wednesday, following the cryptocurrency's after fluctuating between 45,166 dollars and 48,003 dollars.

CRYPTOCURRENCY - Bitcoin nears the 46,000-dollar level

The price of Bitcoin hit the all-time high of 48,049 dollars, as Tesla's CEO Elon Musk revealed the company bought 1.5 billion dollars worth of Bitcoin to ensure "more flexibility to further diversify and maximize returns on our cash.",

Bitcoin decreased by 0.46 percent in the last 24 hours to 45,901.61 dollars, while the weekly gain of the currency was calculated at 26.68 percent. Bitcoin's total market volume was at 852 billion dollars, about 10 billion dollars less than the previous day.

With increasing corporate purchases, the total market capitalisation, which exceeded the 1.0 trillion dollar limit for the first time in history on January 7, was at 1.0 trillion 374.95 billion dollars in the early hours of Wednesday.

While the value of 19 units decreased from the highest volume of 100 units in the last 24 hours in the crypto money markets, three of the top 10 units were among those that fell.,

Bitcoin accounted for 61.9 percent of the total market volume in 33,591 markets where 8,420 cryptocurrencies were traded, while the 24-hour trading volume in all markets was at 211 billion dollars.
